Automatic backup functions by utilizing the system or application to automatically save data. When new, modified, or deleted data is detected, it is promptly backed up to a designated location. This helps prevent substantial losses caused by data loss or damage.
iOS & Android Automatic Backup Feature
Once you open myHPcloud app, grant the app the necessary permissions. If needed, you can also enable these permissions through your device settings in your account settings.
In addition to enabling the feature in settings, you can easily toggle automatic backup on or off and monitor its progress by tapping the cloud backup icon on the homepage.
Navigate to your account settings to access the automatic backup feature of myHPcloud.
You can choose whether to enable automatic backup. If you turn it on, the software will automatically back up your mobile data to the "Camera Uploads" folder in your account.
When starting the automatic backup feature for the first time, processing may be delayed due to the large number of files. To speed up uploads, you can disable specific settings. Swipe down on the screen to refresh the app and track the number of files being prepared for upload.
With this feature, you can easily back up your data, ensuring peace of mind wherever you are and whichever device you're using!
Due to limitations in Apple's iOS, the app must remain active at all times to perform automatic backups. We are actively working to enhance this feature. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Desktop Software Automatic Backup Feature
【 Install the Software 】
【 Setup Backup 】
From the main menu, select "Setup Backup" and choose the files you want to back up from your computer. You can set an automatic backup frequency to ensure that important data is regularly and securely backed up to the cloud.
【 Backup Log 】
Once the setup is complete, you can check the backup progress in the "Backup Log". The software will automatically back up data to the "PC Upload" folder in your account based on the log.
【 LogOut 】
Need to logout? Just click "Logout". Just remember, if you logout, your scheduled backup setup will be removed. When logging back in, be sure to activate the setup backup feature again.
